What makes me an Innovative Educator?

I am an innovative teacher because I inspire my students to innovate, explore and experience the real life  and collaborate. And I inspire my students to think by innovating and exploring different teaching styles with help of Microsoft tools .I always try to integrate technology in my method of teaching and Microsoft take cares of me and my students.

Most of my lessons enhance self directed learning.I try to teach through project method.I facilitate students to develop 21st century skills such as creative thinking,problem solving and collaboration.This is only possible through technology.
I try to plan the lesson to be done in an innovative way such that the students will be engaged in decision making ,critical thinking and problem solving.
I am innovative teacher as my way of transition of knowledge is innovative.I take help of technology.Technology has helped mainly with Collaboration , Communication, Critical Thinking and hence making learning more meaningful.

 Technology impacts my students’ learning outcomes:

 

My students understand the concepts better using technology.It build upon students’ prior knowledge and skills.Technology emphasize the connections among mathematical concepts and connect abstractions to real-world settings.Technology has opened up many new horizons of learning for my students. They can now collaborate easily with their own classmates and can get different perspective by sharing their classroom .It allow allow Learners to have the freedom of choice to decide their own time, place, pace, or path to study.Learning materials that are enhanced with various media such as sound,narration, video, animation, graphics etc. provide learners choices to enhance their different intelligence or learning styles.If designed and implemented properly,

  I use technology to support 21st century skill building:

I collaborate learning using different web-2 tools.
I use www. wikispaces.com and Group Blog in Google.
The students construct their knowledge using previous knowledge using different tools.They surf Internet and apply the decision making skills which one is most appropriate website.They interact on on line plat form and develop collaboration skill.They use their creativity to make presentation using Microsoft power point or Movie maker.While working in group they develop leadership skill.
They learn to use technology such as copying and pasting,downloading and uploading video.They learn copy right law.The students learn Microsoft picture Manager to edit picture.They learn to use digital camera to take the picture and video required for assigned project.This help in developing their problem solving skills.
The students interact with other students and teachers globally through e-mail,face book and www. wiki spaces, which develop their communication skills.

  I use Microsoft products:

Microsoft Word-
To write questions,to make work sheets.
Microsoft Power point
To prepare slide show for teaching as well as learning
Microsoft To make mark sheet
Microsoft Publisher for newsletter and certificate
Microsoft Access for database of the students
Microsoft Paint for drawing.
Movie maker for making movie.
Microsoft One Note helps me organize my own work.
Most favorite Microsoft technology in Microsoft Mathematics-2010 which help me lot in Mathematics in class room.
Microsoft Mathematics-10 Add-in for Word.It makes easy to plot graphs in 2D and 3D, calculate numerical results, solve equations or inequalities, and simplify algebraic expressions in your Word documents .
It provide some tools for higher Mathematics such as matrix multiplication and calculus,maxima & minima,Solution of triangles.It is most important tool of Mathematics to provide formulas used in Mathematics.

 I am a leader in my school.

I am Master Trainer for ICT tools of my School.I guide other teachers to use new technology.As International school Coordinator I guide my colleague to take professional knowledge from different on line agencies.I help my authority/administrator for new technologies such as digital camera,new soft wares and Interactive Boards.I am expert in Project based learning .So I conduct workshops for teachers of my Organisation(Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan).My school has recently awarded "International School Award' by British Council .Not only in the school I coordinate different online & offline activities and Projects at Regional level and National level for my organisation.I have trained 1000 teachers to use Information Communication Technology tools in teaching.motivate them to learn and implement the same in their classrooms. Recently, after winning the National Award for ICT in Education, I can be a member in Education Ministry to be part of the National Training Team in India.
I train the teachers to use new ICT tools.I invite them to join Microsoft Educator Network and take professional development courses meant for teachers.

I have never stopped learning:

My significant learning is 'Teaching with Technology"and got a badge with "Microsoft Partner in learning" .on Microsoft Educator Network.

Another is 'Education for Global Citizenship" on the platform of Schools online Community British Council.
My recent significant learning is "Microsoft Mathematics-2010".

Education is a basic right, a social imperative and technology can accelerate insight and impact. The school leaders can be empowered so they can transform education, support educators to inspire students to develop innovative ideas to become stalwarts of upcoming generations.

My most significant personal learnings:
